We have reached the halfway point of the Spring Semester, meaning that the Spring season is halfway over. The Storm is moving into the conference battles as the Spring weather begins to peek its head out.

Quick Takes: The Storm continued to face GLIAC competition last week as they traveled to Wayne State for a series. The pitching and offense both struggled on Friday but it came alive on Saturday. Adam Beach broke a school record with 16 wins in his career. Three players had 4 hit games on Saturday as the Storm managed one game of three. The home opener scheduled for the 27th was postponed due to weather but the Storm will play 6 games at home this week.

Quick Takes: The softball team broke a three week hiatus on Friday by being shut down by Ferris State pitcher Dana Bowler who pitched a perfect game. The offense was non-existent and the pitching was horrendous. The Storm were outscored 58-1 in four games. The Storm will play eight games in five days to open the home schedule.

Quick Takes: A 6-0 start by #7 Seton Hill spelled doom for the Storm as they could not come back from that deficit. Josh Becker and Keegan Bal led the Storm with 2 goals in  the game. Tom Lipomi struggled in the goal, allowing 16 of 25 shots to score. The Storm will play two games this week within the ECAC conference, including one postponed game.

Quick Takes: The Storm welcomed a new team to Painesville as the Young Harris Mountain Lions, from Georgia, came to face the Storm. A first-year program with all freshman played . The Storm won the game by a 21-0 score, the Storm’s first shutout in two years. The usual suspects helped the Storm to a another win. They open GLIAC play this week with two games on the road.
