4/10: Captains rained out again

MIDLAND, MI- The doubleheader between the Lake County Captains (1-4) and the Great Lakes Loons (2-3) scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled due to inclement weather and poor field conditions.

The two games are being rescheduled for the weekend of Friday April 19th when the Captains return to Dow Diamond for another three game series. One game will be played on Friday as a part of a doubleheader and another doubleheader will be played on Saturday as well. The plan is to play five games in three games that weekend.

The Captains will now travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana to face the Fort Wayne Tincaps at Parkview Field. Game one of the four game series is scheduled for Thursday night at 7:05 PM. RHP Luis DeJesus (0-0, 6.75) will start for the Captains and 2012 first round draft pick LHP Max Fried (0-0, 2.25) will get the ball for the Tincaps.
